About Us - The Pramukh

The Pramukh started from a simple, everyday problem. In most societies and apartments, the maintenance money, the pending dues, the expenses and the small decisions are still handled through paper registers, WhatsApp groups and a lot of trust. When accounts are not clear, doubts creep in - and the person managing it all, the Pramukh, ends up spending more time answering questions than actually running the society.

We built The Pramukh to fix exactly that. It brings a society's management into one clean app, where the money is transparent, the records are in one place, and everyone can see the same honest picture.

What we do

The Pramukh is a digital platform for residential societies and apartments. Any society or apartment can create its own private space in the App and manage its day-to-day life there:

Set up the community - blocks, floors, flats or plots - in a few steps.
Run maintenance cycles and keep a clear, room-wise record of who has paid and who is pending.
Maintain an open income and expense ledger that every member can see.
Handle dues, complaints, notices, documents, visitors, staff and voting.
Stay connected through a community group chat.

How we think about money

We took a deliberate decision early on: The Pramukh does not touch your maintenance money. Residents pay the way they always have - cash, UPI or bank transfer - and the App simply keeps the record and the approval trail. Think of it as a glass register: everyone can see what came in, what went out and who paid, but only the Pramukh can write and approve. This keeps the App simple, keeps societies in control of their own money, and keeps the accounts honest.

Who it is for

The Pramukh is for the person who manages a society and wants less headache and more clarity, and for the residents who simply want to know that the accounts are fair. Only the Pramukh subscribes to open a community; residents join free.

Where we are going

We are building The Pramukh step by step, starting with the things that matter most - clean onboarding, transparent maintenance and reliable communication - and adding more as societies tell us what they need. Our goal is a tool that any society, technical or not, can pick up and trust.
