This disclaimer explains the limits of what The Pramukh does. It is meant to set clear expectations so there is no confusion about the role of the App in your society's affairs.
The Pramukh is a management and record-keeping platform for societies and apartments. It shows the information that community members enter - maintenance, dues, ledger, notices and so on. It does not act as an accountant, auditor, bank or legal advisor. The figures you see are only as correct as the entries made by the Pramukh and members of that community.
The App does not collect, hold or transfer maintenance or dues. Residents pay these amounts outside the App, and the App records the payment for transparency. The Pramukh (the platform) has no involvement in the actual money changing hands, and is not responsible for cash that was paid but not recorded, or recorded but not actually paid.
Notices, documents, complaints, expense notes, chat messages and other content are created by community members. We do not check, verify or endorse this content. Any opinion or information posted inside a community belongs to the member who posted it, not to The Pramukh.
Decisions such as maintenance amounts, penalties, expenses, adding or removing residents, and approving payments are made by the Pramukh and the community. The Pramukh (the platform) does not make or influence these decisions and is not responsible for their outcome. Any disagreement is to be resolved within the society.
Nothing shown in the App is legal, financial, tax or accounting advice. If your society needs such advice - for example on statutory dues, audits or compliance - please consult a qualified professional.
The App uses outside services such as payment gateways (PayU and Razorpay) and notification providers. We are not responsible for delays, downtime or errors caused by these third-party services, though we will help where we reasonably can.
We try hard to keep the App accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. Features may change as the product grows.
